Cuff
To make the cuff, we will be working short rows off of the last round worked on the body of the hat. Turn your work so that the right side is facing you.
1. Ch7 (see Figure 1). Hdc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (see Figure 2). Ss to next unworked st on glove body. Ss to next unworked st on glove body (see Figure 3). Turn. – 6 st
2. Sk 2 ss. Fphdc around next st and each st across (see Figure 4). Turn. – 6 st
3. Ch1. Fphdc around 1st st and each st across. Ss to next unworked st on glove body. Ss to next unworked st on hat body (see Figure 5). Turn. – 6 st
Repeat rows 2 & 3 all the way around the glove body. You will end with a row 3 repeat, but don’t finish the 2nd ss (see Figure 6).
Turn your work so that the right side is facing you and the last row you just worked is sitting over the first row you worked (see Figure 7). Ss the cuff closed working through the bottom loop of your first row and the top 2 loops of your last row (see Figure 8). The resulting seam should be nearly invisible (see Figure 9).
Weave in your ends, and you’re done!
